Understanding the HGH Cycle Length for the Administration of the Hormone

The natural production of the human growth hormone is high during the childhood and adolescent phases. However, after the age of 30 years, the synthesis and release of the hormone diminishes, thus making the signs of aging evident.

HGH therapy is extensively used to reduce fat deposits and enhance lean muscle mass. Studies say that 0.028 IU/Kg/day for a period of 24 weeks helps in the successful reduction of fat and considerable increase in lean muscle mass.

The HGH cycle for beginners lasts for 50 days. This is followed by a 20-40 day gap, after which, the 2nd cycle begins. A typical HGH cycle length could vary from 5-8 months, based on the reason for its administration.

Body builders administer the drug about five to seven days a week, with a dosage of 4 IU per day. Experts state that the length of the HGH cycle is more important than its dosage, consequently, a regimen of 5 IU/day for 6 months will be more effective than 10 IU/day for 3 months.

It is recommended that the growth hormone treatment should always commence with a low dosage cycle, gradually increasing the dosage after the body gets adjusted to the therapy.

Based on the purpose for which it is used, the human growth hormone regimen changes. For example, if a person intends to retard aging, maintain optimum health and well being and diminish superfluous and unwanted fat, then two to three IU/day of HGH is recommended.

To enhance the body’s contour and augment lean muscle mass, four to eight IU/day is advised.

It has been observed that about 7 weeks of HGH therapy is safe and adequate for the favorable results of the therapy to become apparent. Experts advocate, administering, 2 IU of the growth hormone in the first 4 weeks, then 2.5 IU (1 injection) in the 5th week, there after, 3.5 IU divided into two injections, 1.5 IU each in the 6th week, and then, 3.5 IU divided into two injections of 1.75 IU each in the 7th week.

Clinical trials reveal that treatment taken for just 4 weeks would not give any results. A minimum of 3 months, and up to 9 months of treatment would show good results. Noticeable results were seen in a few cases, when the HGH treatment was given for 5 months and maximum results by 6-7 months, depending on the purpose of using the therapy.

To sum it up, administering the hormone 1 or 2 times, for five to eight months, daily, covering all the 7 days of the week, would be highly effective for a successful growth hormone therapy.
