HGH For Herniated Disc

Read the Following article on "HGH For Herniated Disc".
Does the use of HGH have a Beneficial Effect on Herniated Discs?

Herniated disc is commonly the result of putting too much strain on the back. It might also result due to an injury / trauma or an accident. The condition causes irregular functioning of the nerves that are around the spinal cord, due to an impingement of the nerves by the exuded disc material. Consequently, nerve signals are not properly recognized by the brain, or the signals may get disrupted. This may result in a tingling numbness, muscle weakness, reflex problems, problems in urination and bowel movements. All these occur due to the herniated disc pressing on to the nerves.

A case study was done on a couple, aged 50 years, who were suffering from joint pains. They complained of pain, stiffness and numbness. They were unable to walk for sometime in the morning. They were administered the growth hormone for a few days, and they showed appreciable improvement almost instantaneously. After 2 years of HGH usage, they were completely cured of the symptoms.

There was another study conducted by Helen E. Gruber and his colleagues, published in the journal called Growth Factors in 2008. This study was about the ability of IGF-1 to support the inter-vertebral annulus cells from stress induced death. The dead cells of inter-vertebral discs keep increasing as the person ages. As these dead cells cannot regenerate, the discs lose their ability to reproduce new cells after apoptosis (cell death). In in-vitro conditions when stress is induced to the annulus cells, the insulin-like growth factor-1 was shown to be effective in stopping the senescence in those cells. This happened when a high concentration of about 500 ng/ ml of IGF-1, was introduced into the cellular environment. The results showed that the percentage of dead cells was reduced in IGF-1 treated group when compared to that of the control.

This can be a starting point for further research in therapies to reduce the dead cell percentage. And, HGH does proffer considerable help in managing herniated discs.
